Skills for Coaching Millennials

Skills for Coaching Millennials – Half Day Workshop

Are you a manager trying to lead millennials? Do you feel like they speak a different language? Do you struggle to understand what motivates them? Do you find yourself thinking things like, “Millennials want a trophy for everything.” It is time to face the fact that millennials are a key segment of today’s workforce whose talent cannot be ignored or replaced. Their influence on the workplace has already been significant and they will continue to shape the nature of work for the next few decades. Leaders and managers need to adjust how they manage to accommodate a broader scope of perspectives and values to fully engage the millennials they lead. Coaching across generations has always been a challenge, but it can be done successfully with the right skills.

Leadership Skills for Coaching Millennials is a half-day workshop designed to give leaders the tools they need to connect with the natural enthusiasm and energy millennials possess. Participants will learn how to coach millennials to achieve peak performance, while minimizing the stresses created by the perceived differences between generations. This program will be led by Bob Grace and Rik Nemanick, who will share their model of coaching Millennials built from years of advising managers on how to effectively coach. The workshop will cover:

  • Key differences in mindset and motivation across generations
  • Ways to provide feedback to Millennials
  • How to create accountability for performance
  • Our model of holding coaching conversations with Millennials

This workshop is recommended for all current and aspiring leaders who want to make the most of the talents of those they lead, so please RSVP.
