Who will lead? How will they lead? How will they fit into the organization? These are some of the most important questions organizations face. Unlike other business decisions, these questions are often answered from limited data. When promoting from within, companies often evaluate candidates based on performance in their current role.
When hiring from the outside, the evaluation is based on a few hours of interviews. What is missing is clear data on how a candidate will lead. A well designed business simulation assessment can fill the gap by providing observable performance data.
In this session, participants will explore how leadership simulations provide high fidelity data. Participants will learn how to identify what should be assessed, how to structure a simulation to get behavioral data, and the keys to interpreting information for decision making or accelerating development.
